Valentgas Properties is run by Greg Valentgas out of an office on Sandwich Street in downtown Plymouth. Greg and his fiancée Annmarie Vendola live on Cape Cod and buy houses across Plymouth County, the Cape and Islands, the South Coast, and the rest of eastern Massachusetts.

We are real estate investors, not agents. We buy houses directly, for cash, and we either fix them up and resell them or hold them as rentals. We do not list your house on the MLS and we do not take a commission.

A lot of the companies advertising in Massachusetts are national lead-generation outfits. You fill out a form, your information gets sold to whoever pays the most, and three strangers start calling you. We are not that. We are the people who look at the house, write the offer, and show up at closing.

Annmarie spent nearly a decade in the mortgage business before this, so between the two of us there is not much about a title problem, a lien, a probate file, or a difficult closing that we have not seen. If your situation is complicated, that is usually where we are most useful.

A cash sale is not the right move for every house. If your place is in good shape in a hot neighborhood, listing with an agent will probably net you more, and we will say that out loud. We work with a few local agents we trust and we are happy to introduce you. We would rather lose a deal than have you sell to us when you should not have.

Our home turf is Plymouth County and Cape Cod. We also buy on the South Coast, the South Shore, in Boston's neighborhoods, and across Middlesex, Essex, and Worcester Counties. If your town is not on the site, call anyway. If it is east of Worcester, we probably buy there.
